Mrs. Gloria Mae Forrest Taylor, age 75 of Fort Washington, Maryland, passed away on March 27, 2025 in Washington, DC.  She was the daughter of the late Mr. Johnnie P. Forrest and Mrs. Tomato Jackson Forrest.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Mr. Joseph Taylor of the home; her only beloved son, Mr. Kevin Taylor; her wonderful brothers, Mr. Mitchell Forrest (Grace) of Seat Pleasant, MD and Mr. Johnnie J. Forrest (Sandra) of Lynchburg; her loving and caring sisters, Mrs. Joyce Holloway (Jeremiah) of Nathalie and her home care provider and sister, Mrs. Shirley Jackson (Raymond) of Washington, DC; sisters-in-law, Mrs. Frances Forrest of Brookneal, Mrs. Vivian Forrest of Nathalie, and Mrs. Doris Taylor Lawrence (John) of Hyattsville, MD; brothers-in-law, Mr. Garry Taylor (Rachel) of Sommerset, New Jersey and Rev. Simon Pender of Hyattsville, MD; her amazing goddaughter, Shirell Gibson of Gambrill, MD; her devoted niece, Beverly Forrest, who has been like a daughter; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
