Mrs. Gracie Routh Barnes, age 77 of Richmond, passed away on April 6, 2023 in Richmond. She was the daughter of the late William Tatum and Annie Gracie Roberts Tatum.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Morgan Barnes.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Johnson of Chesterfield, VA; son, Troy Barnes of Richmond, VA; one grandchild, Darren Barnes of Chesterfield; sisters, Ruby Douglas of Chase City, VA, Jerylean Dailey , Bobie Brown (Berman), Alma Tucker (Larry), Carolyn Tatum, Wanda Tatum-Chappell (Edward) and Jacqueline Tatum, all of Drakes Branch, Brenda Walton (Terry) of Saxe, VA and Daphne Burrell of Keysville, VA; brothers, David Tatum (Maria) of Randolph, VA, Dwayne Tatum (Laverne) of South Hill and Leslie Tatum (Karen) of Hampton, VA; brothers-in-law, Howard Barnes of Washington, DC; and a host of other relatives and friends.
