Gracie Louise Hubbard, age 77 of Nathalie, passed away on December 10, 2024 in Charlottesville, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Paul Henry Hubbard and Ruth Walker Hubbard.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Rodney Hubbard; brothers, Stuart Hubbard, Larry Hubbard, and Paul Hubbard, Jr.

She is survived by the man of her life for fifty-seven years, David R. Scott; her children, Valerie Word, Cindy Hubbard, Sandy Hubbard, and Tonchent Hubbard; bonus children, Donald and Ronald Williams, and Sonya Whitler; grandchildren, Corlis, Camille, Mountour, Travis, Carlos, Megan, Takeya, Derek, Tytiana, Christian, Rodney Lamar, Rodshae, Chenequa, Azzareya, Milan, Tonchent, Jr., and a host great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Sharon Hubbard; siblings, James Hubbard, Robert Hubbard (Paula), Brenda Hubbard, Gloria (Gary) Howard; sisters-in-law, Agnes Hubbard, Diane Hubbard, Rose Davis, and Roberta Harris; dedicated nieces/nephews, Melissa (Chris) Boyd, Reggie Hubbard, Aundrey Hubbard, Sharron (Sonya) Braxton, Erica (Nevin) King, Meyonka Hubbard, Mynerica Howard, Patrice Johnson, Demond Hubbard, and many more, too numerous to name; dedicated cousin, Vera Sparrow, being there around the clock; and a  host of other relatives and friends.
