Mr. Hatfield "McCoy" Franklin, age 89 of Cullen, passed away on March 21, 2021 in Cullen. He was the son of the late John L. Franklin, Sr. and R. Elizabeth Wade Franklin.

He was preceded in death by his son, Anthony McCoy Franklin; siblings, John L. Franklin, Jr., R. Eloise Waters, Harold Franklin, Sr. and Clarice Nance.

He leaves to cherish memories, wife, Ruby Franklin; daughter, Resiah Scott; grandchildren, Ryan Scott, Dana Scott (Joshua), Shakeem Cox (Mario), and Davontie Franklin; six great-grandsons; brother, Earl Franklin; sisters-in-law, Doris Franklin and Annie Franklin; devoted niece, Kim Meier; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
