Henry was a caring husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He peacefully entered eternal rest on Thursday, September 28, 2023, in Cullen, Virginia at age 84. His journey in life began to his parents the late Mr. James W. Haskins and Mrs. Fannie W. Haskins in Drakes Branch, Virginia on February 6, 1939.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Pauline Haskins; one brother, Norman Haskins; two aunts, Mrs. Pauline Johnson and Ms. Emma Haskins; uncle, Howard Johnson; and sister-in-law, Alice Thompson Haskins.

He leaves behind a loving and devoted family to cherish his memories:  Sharon White (Leon) of Fayetteville, NC; Sheila Reid (Charlie) of Locust Gove, VA; Wanda Haskins of Stafford, VA; Henry Haskins (Vanessa) of Chase City, VA; Kenneth Haskins (Sharon) of Stafford, VA; Barry Haskins (Sherry) of Ruther Glen, VA; Deborah Hayes of Richmond, VA; James Smith (Shelia) of Pelham, NC; Michael Smith of Saxe, VA; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; niece, Robin Lewis (Wayne) of Raleigh, NC; nephew, Michael (Brenda) of Charlotte Court House; and a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends who loved him dearly.
