Henry Lee Horne, age 79 of Pamplin, passed away on August 31, 2026 at his residence. He was the son of the late Milton Horne and Ethel Horne. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his six brothers, Willie Ray, Fred, James, Ebin, Russell and Sonny; one sister-in-law, Virginia Marie Ligon; and seven brothers-in-law, Howard, William, Ulysses, Elijah Allen, Ed Staton, John Ligon and Collins Griffith. 

Henry leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Therussell Horne of fifty-eight years; one son, Shonne Caprice Horne (Jacinda) of New York; two granddaughters, Vanessa Rodriquez and Deonna Horne; two great grandchildren, Jace and Kiyomi Rodriquez; three sisters, Daisy Johnson (Frank), Annie Crowder (Freeman) and Nezzie Staton; sisters-in-law, Elda Horne of New York, Minerva Venable of Pamplin, Virginia, Sallie Griffith , Jean Griffith (Halavar) of New York, and Earnestine Scott (Cleovis) of Detroit, Michigan; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and his Peaceful Grove Baptist Church Family.
