Mr. Henry Johnson, age 75 of Brookneal, passed away on September 28, 2022 at his residence. He was the son of the late Mr. Henry Watkins Johnson and Ms. Elizabeth Jackson.

Henry was preceded in death by his godmothers, Mrs. Mary Dennis, Ms. Clara Barksdale, and Ms. Olivia Dennis; and one brother, Mr. Larry Starks.

He leaves to cherish his memories with his wife of 43 years, Betty J. Johnson of Brookneal, Va.; one son, Darryl Johnson of Lynchburg, Va.; one grandson, Jayden Johnson of Rustburg, Va.; two sisters, Audrey J. Starks and Phyllis S. Dolsey of Lynchburg, Va.; one brother, Willie M. Starks of Lynchburg, Va.; three sisters-in-law, Mary Robinson of Phenix, Va., Alice M. Scott and Joyce Taylor of Brookneal, Va.; a special devoted cousin, Less Forrest; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
