Mr. Henry Reid, age 88 of Jetersville, passed away on December 19, 2023 in Farmville. He was the son of the late Tony Reed and Lottie Richardson Reed.

Henry was a member of the Amelia Baptist Church. He received his education in the Amelia County Public School System. Henry never met a stranger and was also willing to help anyone that needed him. He also had a green thumb when it came to flowers and plants.

Henry was preceded in death by both parents, sisters; Erma VanRomondt, and Cora R. Booker, four brothers; Emanuel Reed, Joseph Reed, Russell VanRomondt, and Purcell VanRomondt.

Uncle Henry leaves to cherish his loving memories a host of devoted nieces and nephews, one sisters-in-law, Hattie VanRomondt; his devoted extended family, Joseph and Cora Watson-Rice and family, Tony and Juanita Ross and family, George and Linda Wilson and family, Ms. Janet Rowe and family, Ms. Ethel Green, George and Melissa Anderson; his friends at Chula Junction Flea Market; many cousins, other relatives, and friends.
