Mr. Hubert Roosevelt McIvor, Sr. age 84 of Appomattox, passed away on November 11, 2020 in Lynchburg. He was the son of the late Mr. Noland McIvor and Mrs. Viola West McIvor.

Hubert was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, George L. McIvor, Lawrence N. McIvor, Curtis O. McIvor, and Harvey R. McIvor; five sisters, Beatrice Nowlin, Louise McIvor, Evelyn M. Walker, Mary A. Adams, and Carolyn L. Barley.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Frances Austin McIvor; four children, Grayling Clark of Brookneal, Deborah Day (William) of Chesterfield, Bernice Ulloa (Victor, Sr.) of El Paso, Texas, and Hubert "Petie" of Ft. Myers, Florida; four grandchildren: Victor Ulloa, Jr., Kraig McIvor, Justin Day, and Brittni McIvor; one brother, Harold McIvor of Brookneal, Virginia; three sisters, Deloris Mason of Naruna, Virginia, Edith M. Black of Nathalie, Virginia, and Fannie Boyd of Lynchburg, Virginia; nine sisters-in-law, Clara McIvor, Arthurine McIvor, Myrtle McIvor, Louise Davis, Helen Walker, Thelma Hancock, Patricia Jordan, Zenobia Austin, and Nancy Hancock; four brothers-in-law, Leon Adams, Aldophus Barley, Jessie Hancock, and Earl Austin; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
