Ida Mae Johnson was called home to be with her Heavenly Father on May 11, 2026 at the age of 95. Ida was born on September 28, 1930 in Lunenburg County, Virginia to the late Henry and Della Whitehead. She was the seventh of seventeen children born into the family.

As a young girl, Ida helped on the family farm while attending the Lunenburg County School System, where she later graduated. At an early age, she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at Lone Oak Baptist Church in Keysville, Virginia, where she faithfully remained a member until relocating to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1950.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Johnson; her daughter, Deborah Clinkscales; six brothers; eight sisters; sons-in-law, Ernest Clinkscales, Dennis Warren, and George Alden, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories, her two devoted daughters, Antionette Alden of Coatesville, Pennsylvania and Charlene Warren of Glenside, Pennsylvania; three grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; two sisters, Kathren Smith of Keysville, Virginia and Ruth Jackson (James) of Victoria, Virginia; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
