Mr. James Harvey Dixon, Sr., age 93 of Long Island, Virginia passed away on August 26, 2025 at his residence.  He was the son of the late Mr. Harvey Dixon and Mrs. Pearl Younger Dixon.

He is survived by seven children, Louis Dixon (JoAnn), Sylvia Boyd (Mandy), and Isreal Dixon, all of Long Island, Teresa Stevens of Halifax, Dennis Dixon of Long Island, Victor Dixon of Nathalie, and Doretha Gilbert of Long Island; four siblings; Iola Weston of Queens, NY, Lucy Whitlock of Stokesdale, NC, Elmer Dixon of Danville, and Eugene Dixon of Ossining, NY; and a host of grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces, and nephews and friends.
