Mr. James Andrew Moore, Jr. age 55 of Pamplin, passed away on March 13, 2020 in Farmville.  He was the son of the late Deacon James Moore, Sr. and Missionary Alice Wheeler Moore.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Lewis A. Moore, Alonzo Moore, Thaddeus Moore and Douglas Wheeler; his sister, Ruth V. Moore.

He is survived by his son, Taqawn McCoy of Appomattox; sisters, Missionary Joyce Coles of Pamplin, Dr. Alice Thompson (Dr. Levester) of Jarrett, Elder Pearl Bailey (John) of Lynchburg, Bessie Payne of Boston, MA; and a close friend of the family, Mary Wright of Lynchburg; and a host of other relatives and friends.

**Due to the new mandates from Governor Northam and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control, services for Mr. Moore will be private.
