Mr. James R. Morgan, Jr. age 73 of Brookneal, passed away on February 12, 2023 in Brookneal. He was the son of the late James Robert Morgan, Sr. and Della Patrick Lovelace. He was the husband of Mrs. Bonnie Wilkes Morgan.

James is survived by his loving wife of thirty-eight years, Bonnie Morgan; children, Rodney Morgan and Toni Burrell; step-Children, Shawn Jennings and Jennifer Lambert; grandchildren, Sheridyn Morgan, Tori Burrell, and Cordell Burrell;, step-grandchildren, Avery Jennings and Carlysses Adams;  mother, Della Lovelace; three brothers, Milton Morgan, Donnie Morgan, and Randy Lovelace; one sister, Joyce Johnson; adored aunts, Nancy Scott and Eva Patrick; nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends who were like family to him.
