Mr. James Stewart Canada, age 57 of Scottsburg, passed away on August 3, 2022 in Lynchburg.  He was the son of the late Rosa Geraldine Canada.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Ann Canada; four brothers, Walter Canada, Robert Canada, William Canada and Calvin Canada; and close friend, Alfred "Scrap" Jones.

He is survived by his sons, Anthony Canada of Halifax and Tre' Canada of Scottsburg; six grandchildren; their mother, Ottrice Canada; five brothers, Harry Canada, James Canada, Samuel Canada, and David Canada, all of Halifax and Thomas Canada of New York, NY; one uncle, Hunter, Canada; close friends, Anthony Dixon of Connecticut and Kevin Davis of Lynchburg; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
