James Alexander Walker, Jr. age 57 of Evington, passed away on September 30, 2022, in Evington. He was the son of Dorothy Jackson Walker and the late James Alexander Walker, Sr.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rev. Samuel and Mary Jackson, Mary Hamlett Armistead, Ellen Britton Walker and Sylvester Walker; father, James Alexander Walker, Sr.; aunt, Lula Hamlett; uncle, Edward Lewis Hamlett; and father and mother-in-law, Charles "Hoover" and Virginia Hall.

He leaves to cherish his memories and honor his legacy, his loving and devoted wife, Brenda Hall Walker "My Wife" of the residence; one daughter, Quanisha Walker Taylor (Ronald) of Lynchburg; one son, Jamerson Walker of the residence (special friend, Dencel); three grandchildren, Kenzie, KeAndre, and KeAvion Taylor; mother, Dorothy Walker of Brookneal; two sisters, Viven Walker-Marable (Dennis) of Bowie, MD, Francine Davis (Kelvin) of Nathalie; one brother, Michael Walker (fiance' Twanda) of Brookneal; sister-in-law, Clara Crawley (Zimbalist Sr.) of Evington; two brothers-in-law, Carroll Hall of Long Island and Larry Hall of Lynchburg; aunts, Caroline Morton of Richmond, Linda Knight, Elizabeth "Diane" Hamlett and Peggy Hall of Brookneal; uncles, Willie Lloyd Hamlett (Hattie) of Richmond, Carl Hamlett, Jr. and James Lee Hamlett (Debbie) of Brookneal; two devoted friends, Dan Dixon and Tim White; and a host of devoted loving nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
