Mrs. Jane Elder, age 77 of Brookneal, passed away on January 9, 2022 at Autumn Care of Altavista. She was the daughter of the late Raymond Foster and Annie Foster.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Max Elder; one brother, Edwin Ray Foster; one sister, Peggy Hendricks.

She is survived by her three children, Janice Elder and Timothy Elder of the home and Max Elder (Julie) of Naruna; and two grandsons, Joshua Elder of  New York, NY and Derrick Elder of Charlottesville, VA; one brother, Page Foster (Phyllis) of Danville, VA; and a host of other relatives and friends.

There will be no service.
