Jeffrey "L-Rod" Clark Tucker, age 51 of Gladys, passed away on August 9,2020.   In April, Jeff was diagnosed with lung and brain cancer. He fought a tough battle, but it was just too much for him to overcome. He is at peace now with no more pain.

He was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Carter Page Tucker; his mother, Mrs. Dorothy Clark Tucker; a brother, Ronald Smith; a sister, Marlene Snipes; and his "other mom," Mrs. Louise Scott.

Jeff decided to follow in his brother Ricky's footsteps and became an accomplished electrician. He was also an avid Dale Earnhardt /NASCAR fan. He loved his Redskins and hated the Cowgirls. He also loved talking about that "Tucker Thing".

He is survived by sister, Linda Murphy; brothers, David Tucker, Randy Tucker, Rick Tucker, and John Tucker; a special nephew, Pete Tucker; and nieces, Ashley Mann, Heather Carwile, Mallory Padron, and Krystal Nelson.

The family would like to give special thanks to our cousin, Jerry Tucker and his wife, Cathy for helping Jeff during his last few rough months. It is greatly appreciated and he loved you both so much.

A private memorial for the immediate family will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers or donations take the time to call a relative or friend you have not spoken to in a while. Catch up on things and tell them you love them, because tomorrow is promised to no one. And today may be your last chance to speak to them. Tomorrow could be too late.
