Jennifer Carol
Mason
March 29, 1979 – August 6, 2023
Jennifer Carol Mason, 44, was born on March 29, 1979 in Harrisonburg VA, and was "hand picked" by her adoptive parents, Malcolm Keith Mason and Brenda Mason of Brookneal, VA.
She was promoted to big sister in 1982 when her parents blessed her with a sister, Emily. Growing up she was an active member of Falling River Baptist Church, a great athlete, and an even better friend. Many people with no blood relation considered her family and loved her the same. Jennifer had four daughters who were her whole world. Starting that day, she became a mother and strived to give her girls the best life possible, even when this meant letting others help.
Jennifer called her best friend, Alvin her angel, because he never let her down but more importantly he was there for her girls. On that note, one thing that must be said about Jennifer, Jenn, Pooh Bear, or maybe she even went by Jenna, but regardless, Jennifer would also give her last to help out strangers, friends, and even those who didn't see eye to eye with her . The world and lives of her loved ones will be forever changed, missing the life of the party until we meet again.
Jennifer is survived by four daughters, Cheyenne Fannon (Tim Farmer) of Appomattox, VA., Macie Fannon of Brookneal, VA., Zendaya Scott (Queenie) of Concord, VA., and her youngest, Journey Maria-Padlilla "Sugardoll" of Lynchburg, VA; two grandsons, Jonah Noblin, whom she cherished, and Clarkton Farmer, whom she was so excited to meet; her parents, Keith and Brenda Mason of Brookneal, VA; sisters, Emily Lawhorne (Stephen) of Phenix, VA and Celeste Caracofe Crudup of Charlotte, NC; four nephews, Daxton Lawhorne of Phenix, VA, Patrick Crudup Jr of Bailey, NC., Michael Crudup of Middlesex, NC., and Jamison Crudup of Bailey, NC.; and her very special friend, Alvin Moon of Lynch Station, VA. She will be greatly missed by those above as well as a multitude of friends.
