Mr. Jermaine Lamont Jones, age 41 of Lynchburg, passed away on May 21, 2022 in Lynchburg. He was the son of late James Thomas Lyle and Barbara Ann Jones Haley.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Joseph Lyle and grandmother, Rachel Lyle; maternal grandmother, Betty Jones and grandfather, Joe Jones.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Jones of the home; his children, Taliyah Bates, Aaliyah Bates, Jayla Jones, Jaliyah Waterstraat, and Jah'Quan Jones; grandchild, Loyal Thompson; mother, Barbara Haley (James); mother-in-law, Betty Johnson; sister-in-law, Erica Gray; brother-in-law, Chauston Gray; step-dad, Herbert Kelso; cousins, Mel Lyle, Derrick Scott, Gerald Van Romondt (Tim); special friends, Jermaine Hartman, James Newton, Tom Brown, Calvin Hunter, Harold Pennix, and Tyrone Dillard; and a host of other relatives and friends.
