Mr. Jerry Womack Darnell, age 82 of Cullen, passed away on August 1, 2020 at his residence. He was born on April 17, 1938 to the late Mr. George F. Darnell, II and Mrs. Sally Womack Darnell.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Katherine I. Darnell; two brothers, George Frances Darnell, III and Charles Newton Darnell.

He was enlisted in Marines and later he joined the United States Air Force.

He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-one years, Geraldine Darnell of the home; two children, Lisa R. Adams of Cullen and Patricia Hutzler of Inwood, West Virginia; three grandchildren, Alexis Owen, Hannah Adams and Katlyn Adams; three great grandchildren, Skylar Owen, Alayna Wilkerson and Cameron Owen; two sisters, Barbara Barbery of Gloucester, Va. and Emma Scott of Henderson, Nevada; and a host of other relatives and friends.
