Jerry Lee Womack, age 57 of Nathalie, passed away on August 23, 2023. He was the son of the late William Alonzo Jones and Catherine Womack Jones.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his devoted lifetime partnership to the love of his life, Frances Carr, of the home; five children, Symone Smith, of Maryland, Ryan, Joseph Thomas, Larry Green, and Jerry Lee Womack Jr, all of Washington DC; god daughter, Ari'yaa "Jackrabbit" Carr; four grandchildren, Amerii Green, Amina Green, Bailee Green and Logan Morgan; one sister, Eliza Ann Boyd of Nathalie, VA; two nephews, Justin Boyd of Nathalie, VA and Destin Boyd, of Raleigh, NC; five great nieces and nephews; four uncles, Douglas Jones of Roxboro, NC, David Womack, of  Washington, DC, Robert Jones and Jesse Jones of Halifax, VA; three aunts, Catherine Dunkley of Nathalie, Annie Barksdale (Elder Calvin Barksdale) of Danville, and Margaret Pounds (Elder Jasper Pounds) of South Boston;  three devoted cousins, Eddie Womack, Doris Clark, and Edna Womack; one devoted, friend Stacey Whitlock; and a host of relatives and friends.
