Mr. Joe Louis Fears, Sr., age 63 of Brookneal, passed away on January 7, 2025.  He was the son of the late Mr. Lewis Lee Fears and Mrs. Margaret Alease Walker Fears.

He is survived by two children, Joe Louis Fears, Jr. of Brookneal and Laura Fears of Halifax; three grandchildren, Cheyenne Compton, Landon Fears, and Jensen Fears; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
