Johnnie Bedford, age 72 of Cullen, passed away on December 17, 2024 at his residence. He was the son of the late Nettie Gregsby Bedford and Anderson Bedford.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by eight siblings.

He leaves to cherish his memories, two sisters, Evelyn Bedford of Baltimore, MD and Sallie Watson (William) of Meherrin; three sisters-in-law, Eunice Bedford, Rosa Bedford and Barbara Tines; a dedicated niece and caregiver, Dorareen Thompson of Cullen, VA; four special helpers, Angela Hurt, Sherell Thompson, Evon Wood and Gloria Royster; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces, and other relatives and friends.
