Josephine Glass Robey, age 91 of Farmville, passed away on January 26, 2025 in Farmville. She was the daughter of the late Harry Edgar Glass and Nadie Saunders Glass.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Franklin Robey; and son, Franklin Dwight Robey.

Josephine was a member of Central Baptist Church in Altavista, Virginia. She worked at Klopman Mills for many years. She was a devoted wife, taking care of her family was her number one priority and loved spending time with the family. She loved baking, growing flowers, gardening and canning vegetables.

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Wilkins (Michael) of Cumberland, Virginia; a daughter-in-law, Diane Robey of Rustburg; three grandchildren, Ricky Robey and Dwayne Robey, both of Rustburg, Virginia and Lisa Cooke (Kevin) of Madison Heights, Virginia; two great grandchildren, Kaylee Robey and Ryan Robey; sister-in-law, Daisy Glass of Roanoke; and a host of other relatives and friends.
