Mrs. Joyce Barbour, age 62 of Gladys, passed away on May 27, 2022 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Oscar Barbour, Jr. and Ethel Bolling Barbour.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister and best friend, Shirley Barbour Mayo and granddaughter, Zamiya.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her sons, Matthew Barbour (Ebony) of Shipman, VA, Michael Barbour of Gladys, VA, and a bonus son, Jonathan Navarro of Gladys, VA; thirteen grandchildren, Ja`Myah, Mi`Kaylan, Keyli, Ryleigh, Jada, Khloe, Cameron, Aaliyah, Makenzie, Zamoni, Julian, Kaiden, and Zavien; her fury baby, "Chilly"; two brothers, Roger Barbour (Linda) of Lynchburg, VA and Jerry Barbour (Sandra) of Forest, VA; a brother-in-law, Bert Mayo of Gladys, VA; an aunt, Lucy Dalton of Amelia, VA; devoted friends Brenda Cole, Lisa Haley and Isaiah Payne; two godchildren, Amber Broggin and RaShaun Dunkley; and a host of other family and friends.
