Juanita Townsend, age 80 of Keysville, passed away on September 6, 2024 in Farmville. She was the daughter of the late Howard Townsend and Sarah Nellie Mae Hurt Townsend.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert, Elwood, David; and her sisters, Alice and Lucille.

Juanita leaves to cherish her memory, brother, Deacon Arthur Townsend, Sr. of Keysville, Virginia; sisters, Deacon Ellen Townsend of Baltimore, Maryland, Delois Townsend of the home, and Reverend Curtis Townsend of Spring Lake, North Carolina; two sisters-in- law, Mary Townsend of Keysville, Virginia and Yolanda Townsend of Spring Lake, North Carolina; numerous nieces and nephews, whom she adored, great nieces and great nephews, cousins and friends.
