Mr. Junior Hubert Jennings, age 84 of Nathalie, passed away on May 25, 2022 at his residence. He was the son of the late Mr. Hubert Thomas Jennings and Mrs. Rosa Dennis Jennings.

He was preceded in death by his devoted wife of 58 years, Iona Mae Jennings; a daughter, Carolyn A. Jennings; grandson, Drequan T. Hubbard; seven sisters, Thelma, Virginia, Patty, Mildred, Elizabeth, Lowerine and Angeline; four brothers, James Willie, Arthur and Louis. Junior was the last of his generation.

Those left to cherish his memories are a son, Walter Jennings of the home; two daughters, Deborah Jennings of Nathalie and Jennifer Jerrells (Sean) of South Boston; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four sisters-in-law, Jean Carrington of Woodbridge, Isabelle Jennings of Alexandria, Irene Jeffress of Bethel, CT and Misty Jennings of Nathalie; four devoted caregivers, Gloris Miller, Rosa Tisdale, Thelma Pleasant and Dorothy Davis; along with a church friend, Evelyn Waller that visited and lifted his spirits every Sunday; and a host of family members and friends.
