Kathy Anita Womack, age 48 of Prospect, passed away on November 29, 2021 at her residence.  She was the daughter of the late Mr. Roger Milton Womack and Mrs. Phyllis Ann Spencer Womack.

Kathy leaves her memories to be cherished by her loving and quiet son, Marion Fleshman, also known as 'MJ" of Appomattox; very special and devoted friend, Steve Jennings of Pamplin; two aunts, Edith Scott of Jamaica, NY and Magdalene Johnson of Baltimore, MD; six uncles, Fred Womack (Beulah) of Meherrin, Charles Womack of Burkesville, Larry Womack of Richmond, James Watkins (Nannie) of Evergreen, Charles Watkins (Bernetta) of Prospect, and Satterfield Watkins (Debra) of Pamplin; god-parents, Bobbie Reaves (Joe) of New Jersey; two big god sisters, Denise Wheeler Coleman of Lynchburg and Rose Christian Wheeler (Lynn) of Appomattox; one niece, Katrina Brown (Robert) of Lynchburg; two best friends. Brenda Bass of Cumberland and Kristina Meadows of Prospect; two special aunties, Daphne Hunt (Dallas) of Darlington Heights, VA, Barbara LaPrade of Brookneal; sweet fuzzy Cat, Oreo; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
