Lafayette Freeman, age 84 of Nathalie, passed away on March 7, 2025 in Nathalie. He was the son of the late Dossie Freeman and Doxie Crews Freeman.

Preceding him in death in addition to his parents were three brothers, Mr. Roosevelt Freeman, Mr. Clinton Freeman, and Mr. Dorsey Freeman; one sister, Mrs. Catherine Caddle; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Sylvia Freeman;, and a devoted nephew, Albert Caddle, Jr.

Remaining to cherish his memories are these family members, one dedicated sister, Chief Apostle Doris (Elder William) Marshall of Nathalie, VA; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Nannie Freeman; two nieces, Prophetess Letitia (Eric) Marshall-Coleman and Kimberly (Linwood) Freeman-Hardy; six nephews, Apostle Dr. Ira Marshall, Randy Freeman, Larry (Sharon) Caddle, Clinton (Linda) Freeman, Jr., Ronnie (Andrea) Freeman, and Dorsey Freeman, III; and many relatives and friends.
