LaTonya Sheneka Scott, age 36 of Concord, was born on July 20, 1984 and departed this life on March 26, 2021. She was the daughter of Mary Franklin Scott McDaniel and the late Mr. Lewis Wendell Scott.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Serita Franklin; brother, Lewis Scott, Jr.; grandparents, Annie Scott, William and Naomi Lynch, Hattie Franklin Townes and Peyton Townes; two uncles, Guy Franklin and Richard Cheatham.

She is survived by her husband, Sedrick James, mother, Mary Franklin Scott McDaniel; sister, Sidney Scott; two brothers, Mark Jackson and Brian Clark; six aunts, Brenda Turner (Dennis), Clara Thompson, Barbara Franklin, (Joel), Gloria Scott (Refus), Gail Denson, and Linda Cheatham; godparents, Sheila and Ernest Jackson, Marion and John Hamlett, Sarah and Rodney Crews and June and John Rohrbaugh; caring and devoted friend, Cordalro Wright; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
