Lawrence "Augusta" Carrington, age 81, passed away on November 16, 2024 in Brookneal. He was the son of the late Lawrence I. Carrington and Annie M Sydnor Carrington.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert and Leroy Carrington; sister, Elizabeth Ann White; brothers-in-law, Robert Barbour, Harold Bailey, Don Seymour, Ernest White, and Larry Hawkins.

He is survived by his sisters, Gertrude Barbour, Gloria Seymour, Marion Bailey, Dorothy Carrington, Delzoria Hawkins; brother, Major Carrington (Sandra); and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
