Mr. Lewis Boyd age 80 of Halifax, VA, born July 14, 1943, in Halifax, Virginia passed away on September 6, 2023 in Oxen HIll, Maryland.  He was the son of the late Wyatt Boyd and Ella Jackson Boyd.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles Boyd, Frank Boyd and John Roosevelt Boyd; sister, Lois Boyd Washington; sister-in-law, Betty Jo Boyd; brother-in-law, Arthur Taylor; and daughter, Geraldine Cassandra Sandy Young.

He is survived by his wife, Charlotte E Jackson Boyd; one son, Kevin Phillip Jackson; one daughter, Tiffany Lynette Boyd; grandchildren, Jasmine Boyd, LaGene Rollins, Lorice Young, and Brandon Jackson; three great-grandchildren; sister, Mary J. Boyd Taylor of Fort Washington. MD; four brothers, George Boyd (Geneva) of Oxon Hill, James Willie Boyd (Gracie) of Nathalie, Wesley Connell Boyd (Deborah) of Lynchburg and Wyatt Eugene Boyd of Gladys; sister-in-law, Thelma Boyd of Halifax; , three aunts, Sally Hamlett of Landover, MD, Loretta Trent of Temple Hills, MD and Catherine Jackson of Phenix; one uncle, Robert Jackson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
