Linda Marie Martin Adams, age 72 of Gladys, passed away on December 17, 2023 in Mechanicsville, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Sherman Martin and Dorothy Joyce Sutton.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband of almost 50 years, John Adams Sr.

She  is survived by four children, Co-Pastor, Teneeshia Boots (Daimon) of Charlotte, NC, John Jr. (Tanya), Jerona Samuels (Brandon) of Richmond, VA, and Jeremy (Tiara) of Greensboro, NC; eleven grandchildren; one great granddaughter; three sisters, Almanette Martin of Concord, NC, Robin Best (Melvin) and Sharlene Sutton both of Richmond, VA; two brother-in laws , Alphonso Bateman (Ann) of Forest, VA and Harry Bateman (Sarah) of Lynchburg, VA; seven sister-in laws, Geneva Jones (Gerald) and Naomi Jones (Ray), both of Gladys, VA, Beatrice Cox (Robert) of Charlotte, NC, Mary Dalton , Bonnie Adams of Lynchburg, Luddie Adams of Gladys, VA and Betty Adams of Lawrenceville GA; devoted friends, Henry and Theresa Horne of Pamplin, VA; and a host of other nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
