Mr. Louis Melvin Waller, age 77 of Nathalie, Virginia, passed away on June 26, 2026 in Lynchburg, Virginia. He was born in Halifax County, VA on June 2, 1949 to the late Albert Waller and Arletha Jackson Waller. 

In addition to his parents, two sisters preceded him in death, Nora Holliday and Lucille Murray.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Linda Waller of the home; children, Lisa Harper (Derrick) of Knightdale, NC, Christopher Waller (Veronica) of Stafford, VA, and Sherri Edmonds (Robert) of Virgina Beach, VA; four grandchildren, Christopher Jr, Christian, Riley, and Ethan; three brothers, Frank Waller of Nathalie, VA, James Waller (Dorothy) of Fayetteville, NC, and Michael Waller (JoAnn) of Rustburg, VA; six sisters, Mary Waller of Forestville, MD, Lorine Conley of Long Island, NY, Elma Vance (Buddy) of Long Island, NY, Anita Curry of Knoxville, TN, Dorothea Waller of Long Island, NY, and Caroline Waller of Nathalie, VA; and a host of nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.
