Mrs. Lucillia "Lucille" M. Lowe, age 72, formerly of Gladys, passed away on Sunday, November 28th in Amherst. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Joe Winston Miller and Mrs. Bessie M. Jordan Miller.

In addition to her parents, Lucillia was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen W. C. Lowe; two brothers, Walter Lee Miller and Lawrence Douglas Miller.

Those left to cherish her memories are her step-children, Cynthia D. Lowe of Washington, D.C. and Stephen W. C. Lowe, Jr. aka "Bill" of Upper Marlboro, Maryland; two sisters, Nancy Miller Evans of Gladys, Virginia and Frances Miller Calloway (Albert) of Altavista, Virginia; one sister-in-law, Martha Miller of Tampa, Florida; two brothers-in-law, Elmer Lowe (Lavonia) of Arlington, Virginia and Clarence Lowe (Dorothy) of New Carrollton, Maryland; two sisters-in-law, Delsie Jones (Fred) of Elizabeth City, North Carolina and Claudia Friend of McLean, Virginia; her faithful caregiver and cousin, Elaine Clark of Gladys, Virginia and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
