Magalene Lockett, age 72 of Red House, passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2021, at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Martin Lockett and Marie Broggin Lockett.

She was preceded in death by her longtime friend and father of her children, Roy Roger Baker; her siblings, Willie Ed Lockett, Dorothy Gonzales, Joe Lockett, Alma Gracie Baker, Ray Lockett, Betty Lockett, and Jimmie Lockett.

She is survived by her six children, Roger and Randy Lockett of Red House, Pauline Lockett (Marvin), and Lola Lockett (Michael), both of Brookneal, Richard Lockett (Rita) Lynchburg, Bobby Lockett (Brandy) of Appomattox; one sister, Mary Baker of Appomattox;  eighteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
