Marshia Mahalia Brogdon, age 80 of Lynchburg, Virginia, passed away on June 16, 2026 in Lynchburg, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Samuel Ghoston and Katie Coleman Ghoston.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Henry Brogdon; and her son, Paul Brogdon.

She is survived by her sons, Eddie Brogdon and Charles Brogdon; grandchildren, Bird, Renee, Eddie, Jr, Erika, Shanelle, Leona, Elijah, Hannaniah, Talia, Melvina, Sierra, Keisha Anderson and Sarah Darby; her numerous great-grandchildren; loving brother, Thomas Ghoston; brothers-in-law, Jimmy Brogdon, Charlie Brogdon and James Brogdon; beloved family members, Bernice "Aunt Honey" Brogdon and Glorigene Ghoston; faithful caregiver and dear friend, Cathy Beasley; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, church family and friends.
