Mrs. Mary Jane Edwards, age 80 of Red House, passed away on December 22, 2021 in Roanoke. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Earnest Edwards and Martha Nellie Hamlet Edwards.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Nathaniel L. Edwards; sister, Felicia E. Sullivan; nephew, Gale B. Sullivan; and niece, Monay B. Sullivan.

She is survived by her children, Sharon E. Davis of Roanoke and William T. Edwards (Christine) of King George; god-granddaughter, Aaliyah Boone of King George; two grandchildren, Antoine J. Davis, and Danrica L. Davis, both of Roanoke; great-grandchild, Fatimah L Davis; one sister, Ella Edwards of Roanoke; daughter-in-law, Christine "Debbie" Edwards of King George; brother-in-law, Robert W. Sullivan, Sr. of Daleville; aunt, Elna Molly Pennix of Brookneal; and a host of other relatives and friends.
