Mary Elizabeth Wilson, age 76 of Altavista, Virginia, passed away on May 14, 2026 in Lynchburg, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Curtis Wilson, Sr. and Olivia Lipford Wilson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two sisters, Laura Wilson and Ann Lipford Scott; and two brothers, Curtis Wilson, Jr. and Richard Lipford.
She is survived by her son, Knohia Wilson of the home; and daughter, Yvonne Carwile of the home; grandchildren, Destiny Carwile and Seth Carwile; and sister, Evelyn Wilson of Lynchburg, Virginia; and a host of other relatives and friends.
