Maurice Loretta Brown Foster, age 94 of Richmond, Virginia, passed away on August 4, 2026 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Richard David Brown, who served in the US Army and Eliza Madeline Jeffress Brown. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tech Sergeant Bishop Oliver Foster, who served in the US Air Force; and her son, Richard Oliver Foster "Ricky".

She is survived by her daughter, Madeline L. Foster; grandson, Philip R. Foster; two great grandchildren, Natalya K. Foster and Bishop R. Foster; and a host of other friends, and relatives.
