Mr. Michael Duran Braxton, age 42 of Brookneal, passed away on July 10, 2023 at his residence. He was the son of the Michael Waller and the late Betsy Carol Braxton.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Geraldine C. Braxton; aunt, Sandra G. Braxton; brother, Fred Walker; and an uncle, Lorenzo Braxton.

He is survived by three sisters, Alexis Braxton of Rustburg, Lakisha Bostic (Brian) of Charlotte Court House, and Jennifer Lennon of Richmond; two brothers, Damien L. Braxton of Brookneal, and Sean M. Spencer of Lynchburg; brother/best friend, Stacey Barbour of Nathalie; grandfather, Mr. Lawrence Braxton;  aunts, Karen Braxton and Wanda Braxton; and a host of other relatives and friends.
