Minister Carl Junior Hargrove, age 61 of Gladys, passed away on February 2, 2022. He was the husband of Mrs. Kizah Barbour Hargrove. He was the son of the late Gracie Lyvail Lewis and Walter Lewis.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Trevonne Hargrove.

Those he left to cherish his memories include his wife, Kizah Hargrove of the residence;  three children, Carl Alexander Hargrove and  Chiquita Diane Hargrove (Todd Hayes), both of Gladys, and Christopher Lee Hargrove of Lynchburg; two grandchildren, De'Von Hargrove and Carter Hayes; five sisters, Dianne Mason ( Ernie) of Florida, Ronicia Lewis, June Lewis, Elsie Lewis, and Amanda Lewis, all of Baltimore, MD; one brother, Steve Daniels (Jana) of Brookneal; sisters-in-law, Belinda Monroe of Gladys, Hazel Pannell of Bronx, NY and Janie Ross of Absecon, NJ; brother-in-law, Joe Barbour (Maria) of Hurt; and a host of nieces and family.
