Mrs. Miriam Overby Shumaker, age 90, of Long Island, passed away on August 14, 2020 in Chatham.  She was the daughter of the late Mr. Luther J. Overby and Mrs. Minnie Dalton Overby.  She was married to the late Mr. Harvey Shumaker.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Mark Shumaker.

She is survived by her sons, Michael Shumaker Sr. (Frances) and Timothy Shumaker (Kelly); three grandchildren,; six great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; a dear friend and caregiver, Kelly, Eddie and Ethan Waller.
