On March 15, 2025, MSGT Charles Edward Davis, passed away unexpectedly. He was born on August 30, 1950 to the late Arnie Lee Davis, Sr. and Fannie Beatrice Oakes Davis.

He was a proud Air Force Veteran. He was in the Air Force from June 30, 1968 to August 1, 1991 and a member of American Legion Post 232 in Gretna, Virginia.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sons, Jamie Daniel Davis, Charles Edward Davis, Jr. "Chip"; brothers, U. S. Davis, Harper Davis, and Arnie Lee Davis, Jr; sisters, Christine Davis Moore, Mildred Davis Eanes, Effie Davis Millner; wives, Vernelle Clay Davis and Becki Michelle Davis.

He is survived by his daughter, Betty Katherine Davis Worley; son, Matthew Karl Davis; grandchild, Spencer Davis; brother, John David Davis (Patty); sister, Carolyn Davis Waller (WC); sisters-in-law, Betty Davis (Harper) and Betty Davis (Arnie); adopted daughter, Sherry Bowen Tuck; adopted grandchild, Samantha Tuck; adopted great-grandchildren, Jaelynn and Cristiana; adopted daughter, Pam Clay; and his beloved feline friends, Soleil, Scarlett and Midnight; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
