Nancy Epperson Lloyd of Brookneal, Va. passed away Saturday, December 13, 2025, at the age of 87 at her daughter Rebecca's home in Amelia, Virginia. After months of failing health, she died peacefully with family by her side. She was born June 16, 1938 in Campbell County to Wilson Woodrow Epperson, and Nellie Elder Epperson.
She spent over 50 years working in the textile industry, retiring from VF Knitwear in Brookneal. Nancy loved reading, music/singing, thrifting, sketching and cooking. All these activities involved her children, but cooking for them and others was her favorite.
Nancy was the most selfless person one could possibly meet. She will be remembered for her generosity and kindness shown to others. She was a beautiful, strong, proud woman who will be missed greatly by her family and many friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Lloyd, her parents, Wilson Woodrow Epperson and Nellie Elder Epperson, daughter, Vicky Anderson Neighbors, grandson, Brian Anderson, brothers, Billy Epperson and Aubrey Epperson, and sisters, Louise Edmonds and Martha Pollard.
Nancy is survived by her children: Warren Anderson and wife Sandra of Brookneal, Keith Anderson of Brookneal, Charlotte and Bill Brownson of North Chesterfield, Loretta Wilson of Brookneal, Rebecca Anderson and Sam Bowles of Amelia, Vanessa Isaacs and Ron Elms of Gladys, Curtis Anderson and Angie Presho of Nathalie, Arny Lloyd of South Boston, and David Lloyd of South Boston.
Nancy is survived by her grandchildren: Warren, Robert and Morgan Anderson (Warren), Devin Anderson (Keith), Ricky Rehmann and David O'Shea (Vicky), Danielle Anderson and Laura Proakis (Charlotte), Chris Bell, Derrick and Steven Wilson (Loretta), Winferd Francis (Rebecca), John and Stephen Isaacs (Vanessa), and Jonathon and Storm Anderson (Curtis).
She leaves behind many great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and many beloved relatives and friends who loved her dearly.
