Mrs. Queenie Elizabeth Barksdale Randolph, age 87 of Red House, entered into eternal rest on October 7, 2024 at her residence.  She was the daughter of Ms. Rosa Mae Barksdale.  She was the widow of Mr. Herbert M. Randolph.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert M. Randolph; and grandson, George Randolph, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memories three daughters, Juanita Morgan (Alfonso) of Appomattox, Irene Jones (George) of Prospect and Linda Copeland of Appomattox;  three sons, George Randolph (Sharon) of Appomattox, Raymond Randolph (Lisa) of Red House and Michael Randolph (Patricia) of Charlotte Court House; thirteen grandchildren;  twenty-four great grandchildren; one sister, Josephine Williamson of Richmond, VA; three sisters-in-law, Frances Randolph of Lynchburg, Lillie Randolph of Lynchburg, and Flora Randolph of Phenix; her devoted cousin, Elsie Olds, whom she thought of as her sister; one devoted niece, Lynn Edwards (Louis) of Lynchburg; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
