Ralph Waddell Howell, Sr. age 67 of Lynchburg, passed away on February 3, 2025 in Lynchburg. He was the son of Rosetta Patterson Howell and the late Jimmy Lee Barbour.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his step-father, James Patterson.

He is survived by his children, Stacey Spinner, Ralph Waddell Howell, Jr, both of Lynchburg, Sean Howell (Tarsha) and Jamie Howell (Nicole), both of Aiken, South Carolina; grandchildren, Jordan Spinner, Malaki Spinner, Rodney Spinner, Jr., Asia Napier, Cinjae Howell, Jay Howell, Andrew Howell and Katrell Howell; one great grandchild; mother, Rosetta Patterson Howell of Hempstead, New York; sisters, Donna Hobbs (Bishop Wayland) of Hempstead, New York and Geraldine Belton of Lynchburg; brothers, Ricky Howell (Mary Joanne) and Joseph  Rodgers, both of Hempstead, New York, Phillip Howell (Vivian) of St. Louis, Missouri and Vernon Patterson (Marshay) of Brooklyn, New York; extended family, Shelia and Phillip Barbour of Naruna, Donnie Mitchell, Willie Williams, both of Richmond, Virginia, and Timothy Jackson of Naruna, Virginia; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
