Reuben Nathaniel Wheeler, age 62 of Appomattox, passed away on January 29, 2024 in Appomattox. He was the son of the late Lynn Burg Wheeler and Hallie Mae Robinson Wheeler.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Karen Lilly English.

He leaves to cherish loving memories: his wife , Barbie Wheeler of Concord, Virginia; his son, Marcus Wheeler, Sr. of North Chesterfield, Virginia; his daughter, Camille Wheeler of Hopewell, Virginia; five stepchildren; seven grandchildren; eleven step-grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; sisters, Regina Robinson (Wilma) and Denise Coleman of Appomattox, Virginia; brothers,  Bobby Lilly (Shirley) of Farmville, Lynn Wheeler, Jr. (Rose) of Appomattox and Tony /wheeler (Shirley) of Cullen; sister-in-law, Josephine Rosser of Gladys; brother-in-law, Ricky Jackson of Brookneal; three aunts; five uncles; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends including a very special friend, Helen Marie Davis.
