Mr. Richard Edward Dagenhart, age 68 of Lynchburg, passed away on May 10, 2023 in Lynchburg. He was the son of the late Viola Hamlett Dagenhart and Richard Johnson Dagenhart. He was the husband of Faye Markham.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Dagenhart and Viola H. Dagenhart; and brother, Johnny Dagenhart.

He is survived by his wife, Faye Ann Markham of thirty-one years; his son, Michael Kenneth Dagenhart; daughters, Tammy Tucker (James) and Sondra Goff; seven grandchildren, Janie, Sammy, Hannah, Sarah, Joseph, Jacob and Kileigh; three great grand babies, Isaiah, Oakleigh, and Jesse and baby Jacori on the way; brother, Michael Dagenhart (Pat); sisters, Debra Boley and Sharon Collins (Greg); and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
