Mr. Robert Cleveland DeJarnette, Sr., age 64 of Nathalie, passed away on July 29, 2025 in Nathalie. He was the son of the late Richard Marshall DeJarnette, Sr. and Sarah Irby DeJarnette.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Joshua Ryan; three brothers, LeRoy DeJarnette, George DeJarnette and Ricky DeJarnette.

He is survived by his sons, Robert Cleveland DeJarnette, Jr. of South Boston and Ryan Scott DeJarnette (Caren), both of South Boston; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; two sisters, Barbara Crews (Donne), and Deborah Wright (B.J.), both of Nathalie; sisters-in-law, Velma DeJarnette and Connie DeJarnette, both of Nathalie; close friends, Henry Carter, Floyd Short, David Ingram and Curtis; and his beloved dog, Sissy; and a host of other relatives and friends.
